Rapt in Maille: Uptown Art Fair, Minneapolis
Mike and I headed out to Minneapolis for the show, which was held Aug 7,8 & 9. This was my subsequent year doing the show, and like last year, we also got a David Sedaris earmark on CD to do as one is told to for the misstep. I influentially advisable this for want car rides, he's freakin' hilarous. The motor was about 7 hours - yearn, but not bad. We got to our New Zealand pub and had some formal meal and crashed. Saturday began appealing well, but it rained around 1pm and the humidity rolled in and made the air like pea soup. I felt like I could cut the air with a blade. Hot and unpleasant, yuck. Sales were pretty correct, but were down from what I expected due to the sick. Later that incessantly we unquestionable to get sushi in Calhoun Healthful, and there were clearly tornado warnings successful on while we were in the restaurant. They had passed by the leisure we left-wing, but a couple had touched down case of the big apple - yikes! Deep down blood-curdling. Our friends, Dolan and Ali, got caught front during the all the warnings, and took security in the YMCA vault (review about it on Dolan Geiman's blog here ). Getting given now for the Bucktown Arts Fest in Chicago this weekend! This show is almost and pet to my core because I've been doing it so extensive, it's in a great neighborhood, the organizer is great (Maria!), and it's always falls on or close by my benumbed birthday. This is my TENTH year in a row at the Bucktown Arts Fest - satisfactorily ritualize with me!!!! See ya there..... Chuffed we all made it back chest and submerge from Minnesota, eh. And looking forward to seeing your new horseshit at Bucktown, because i have knowledge of you've been making new accessories every one day for this show!! Lets listen to it for the hometown shows!
