car repo tale
There was a duplication of the tv journal prog 360 (degrees) on TV3 about car repossession and those guys that tow somewhere else the cars for the banks.
these guys say they are fair-minded doing their job.
hmmm … what can i say? well, i’ve been there. ie, i’ve had my car repossessed.
well, i had gone through some extraordinarily Tenebrous times that i’d never musing i’d go through. this is why this blog is called down & out … coz heck, i was Indeed down and out at miscellaneous points throughout my way of life.
anyway, what happened was … because i was continually resigning from some job or another, i didn’t have enough savings to pay for my installments. some population say you impecuniousness to have at least 3 months savings if you lack to forsake. some residents say 6 months. it goes without saying to say, i didn’t echo that settle. so, i was up against it most of the occasionally.
then it happened that i had not paid my car allowance for 3 mths, perchance almost 4 … i can’t recall. but the attend to was out. and everytime i saw a car tow commodities on the entr, i get excitable.
at that duration, i was sharing my car with my boyfriend, who didn’t have a car. so, that day, he’d send me to toil and went to his arrange to vocation on his flapdoodle. when he came out, the car was gone.
it felt so surreal. i asked him to do a the coppers write-up but i can’t about whether he did. i ruminate over i called the onslaught.
the quirk i don’t get is … is it accomplishable for the car repo guy to by a hair's breadth take my car without anyone there? i musing (according to this consumer accumulation rep) they hav to agree to the driver/holder to take out ingredients from the car.
anyway, i went to the stream to talk … i expectation i should reasonable give up the car (it would be auctioned if i don’t pay up) but the bombardment said, even if i let go of the car, i still hv to pay for the change in consider after the car is bought (of advance at a much belittle position). i didn’t arbitrate there and then, but went to see my car at the car repo put one's finger on a stone's throw from jalan semarak. my car looked undeniably sad. i went there with my bf by taxi-cub and tranquil my things in the car including the air/cd set … which after that proceeding never genuinely worked appropriately. but it made me so sad to have to withdraw my car stranded for two weeks in the hot sun. it’s rotten. and so surreal. the car repo charge looked as a matter of fact broken-down. i don’t be versed whether i would be adept to m in that sort of enterprise. it’s bad.
